Quelles morceaux de musique peut-on jouer à la scie musicale ?
Voilà une question que je me suis posé moi-même à mes débuts ! Je me rappelle avoir quémander des idées et des bandes sons aux joueurs avec lesquels j’étais en contact afin de pouvoir m’exercer.

La musique cherche à nous faire ressentir des émotions et la scie se prête bien à ces expressions. Par sa sonorité bien particulière et par le vibrato, par le glissando si semblable à la voix humaine qui, judicieusement exploités, sont ses atouts.
Idées de morceaux
- Outre les chansons enfantines pour débuter, je vous conseille l’Hymne à la Joie de Beethoven. C’est en effet un air que vous avez certainement “dans l’oreille”, basé uniquement sur 5 notes, dans un registre medium.
- Un autre morceau connu, avec des notes conjointes (donc faciles à jouer) et une jolie mélodie dans l’aigü, est “God save the Queen”.
- “O sole mio” est un air napolitain parfait ou la passion peut se déchainer, avec une descente dans le grave et un final dans l’aigu. En plus, cette mélodie est amusante, connue, presque caricaturale.
- “Kalinka” est une musique russe, avec un bon contraste entre une partie lente, contemplative, mais rythmée et une partie déchainée.
- La musique d’Ennio Morricone “Il était une fois dans l’ Ouest“, est idéale pour la scie musicale !
